January 24, 2020

This week we tried a new song, "Stomping, then add a clap!"  Also students did their first dictation quiz.  We are also going to start a new way of sharing our talents in music.  Once a month a few students will share a special musical talent with their class.  It can be performed in class, bring in a recording, send a video, or something else.  If your child suggested bringing in or sending a recording, I will be emailing parents soon about it.  I am very excited to get to observe the many talents of Ramsay students!

January 17, 2020

This week students were able to see how their 'Sally Go 'Round' had developed from one concentric circle to three!  They practiced and then I videoed it and showed it to them.  It is much different when you are involved in the movement versus seeing it from outside the circles.  Please remember to send in your child's permission form for choir.  Choir starts on Wednesday.

January 13, 2020

CHOIR starts next week.  Please have the student permission form back to your child's teacher by Friday, January 17, 2020.  Thank you, I am looking forward to singing with your child.
